Well done and great messaging

I’ve written my poem in alternating lines of 5–7 syllables. I started writing it as a continuous haiku of 5–7–5 but then the line, ‘Don’t be the reason’, kept showing up as a type of anaphoric refrain. Either way, it’s something I’ve tried for the first time.
