Well, you deserve it. I instantly connected with you when I read your Magritte and Klee ekphrastics (if I'm recalling correctly) early this year. I like ekphrastics because just knowing that serves as all the notes I need to at least somewhat get into the poet's head. Same with your movie and TZ pieces. And you have an approachable style.

Thomas Plummer has a very approachable style. I think I've seen you read him. I just discovered him recently and we've had some good exchanges in the comments.

As for the famous poets, I don't have a single book. I like novels. Actually, I do have one book that I bought for nostalgic reasons but still haven't cracked. While browsing at Barnes and Noble in Boston in March '21 when I came down from NH and Sofia came up from NYC and to tour the Boston schools, I saw and just had to buy a special anniversary edition of Shel Silverstein's Where the Sidewalk Ends and whatever other poems it contains.

I never wrote a poem before I started writing them on Medium. Completely Medium/self taught.
