Sometimes my essays germinate from comments that I intentionally leave in stories as sounding boards for a piece I have percolating on the split screens constantly working on solutions in my brain, heart, and mind. The idea for this essay arose after I left a comment on a story yesterday and a reader/writer (Dr Mehmet Yildiz) and the author (Desiree Driesenaar) each replied that I should turn it into a story.
