yes, no, and maybe, but there is no such thing as good and evil, but it feels very real thus it also is real:

Evil exists because otherwise, we couldn't fully appreciate good. Some malevolence may occur due to free will running amok, but much of it is improv-scripted. Some souls may want to learn what it’s like to be a victim, and others may want to experience committing bad acts to know what that feels like. Others may not want to but agree to because those roles need actors to play the parts."
