One of my favorite songs of all time is Box of Rain. Quick story. I've loved that song since high school. Freshman year of college I tried to see them in concert. Ended up unknowingly buying a counterfeit ticket outside the arena. Had already eaten my shrooms which led to a somewhat interesting night. Anyhoo, the next day in the cafeteria Linda Fedor (unforgettable) who was very into the Dead says, paraphrasing, "and oh my God Phil came to the mike and thus I knew they would be playing Box of Rain which they hadn't played in concert in a decade." My heart sank. I had no idea about the rarity of them playing my favorite song.
