And sometimes I allow myself to fantasize: What if we could all unstick ourselves from whatever belief we are so so stuck on — even if only temporarily, even if only for the duration of a game of Frisbee? What if Iran and all the countries hell bent on destroying the Big Satan (America), and the Little Satan (Israel), what if one day, Syria were to say, “It’s getting horribly hot here. Let’s all get together here and work on climate control”? Or, “Let’s find a way to make our homes earthquake resistant. We’ll finish up with light refreshments and a game of checkers.”
